Beth Kanter, author of The Networked Nonprofit and Measuring the Networked Nonprofit, shares a recent “conversation” she had on Facebook with other nonprofit technology consultants on when and how nonprofits should adapt their websites to accommodate mobile. The how is using “responsive web design code,” which recognizes the type of device a reader is using and adjusts the site specs to fit it. A secondary route is by developing an app.
